So the plan was to upgrade the pre-fab coop/run we had as we have so many more chickens than the 6 we started with. Only I just keep getting chickens so even adding to the pre-fab will not be enough. Now we are going to get a shed and turn it into a coop this coming week.

Good thing too, I found someone selling a BC Maran trio in the area! hehehehehe more chickens!

They are the chickens that do tend to come when we talk to them. They always like my feet but I assumed it was because I wear flip flops and maybe toes look like worms? LOL

Hahahah! I, too, am a chicken addict! My husband makes me wear a special shirt to prove it!!! LOL


Wow, this photo was taken before I lost my 27 pounds. I didn't realize where I lost most my weight until I saw this photo again! LOL

Howdy y'all! Thought I would pop in and introduce myself. I'm on the outskirts of Athens, in Bogart. We have 2 Jersey Giants, 1 Brahma, 2 EE, and 2 Barred Rocks. I've turned into a crazy chicken lady, but I suppose it's a step up from being a crazy cat lady (which I am as well).
