YO GEORGIANS! :)

Birds that we currently have available ...

1 Buff Brahma Rooster
1 BCM Rooster
1 Barred Rock Rooster
1 Silkie Rooster (have to look up what his color is called but it's cool)

Also have (not sure of quantities right now):
SLW pullets and cockerels
Light Brahma pullets and cockerels

And a family of 6 Canada Geese. We'd like them gone but the Feds might not be too happy about them being messed with. lol

... opening between them that is on accessable by walking across them...

Umm, could you translate that please?

For the dimwitted Canadian..... The aforementioned wall will be the base for the triangle the glue traps will form when they are placed against said wall at a 45 degree angle with their corners touching. There will be one small spot they could cross but that is easily blocked and bait they can't easily pick up will cause them to struggle their way right onto the glue. I have repeatedly successful with this tactic. If you are still confused I will get GAMjr to draw you a picture.

Did you really not notice your typos, Grammar-God?

Glue traps work for me... Place 2 along a wall at a 45 degree angle with their corners touching. This will form a small triangular opening between them that is on accessable by walking across them. Place a fun size snickers bar in that triangle opening for bait.

Ummm, did you mention a fun size snickers bar? I will be right over!

I only notice typos that amuse me. I find nothing funny about my own mistakes so, no, I did not notice.

Hi y'all Marion County here, recently moved from Kennesaw Ga. Where do I get the snickers bar?

I am glad to know that my first year at trying to grow a food garden and it's failure, is not all my fault!!! LOL I kept wondering why my cucumbers and squash were falling off! My lettuce, however, is almost as big as me! And, I have two corn stalks growing because of scratch seed thrown to my chickens that didn't get eaten! LOL
This is my 5th or 6th garden season, but we've only had a good garden the past 2 or 3 years. Mine are shriveling and then falling off. My lettuce is small... as always and i have thyme and mint growing in random places everywhere. I have no luck with corn, lettuce, carrots or melons. So we stick to herbs, tomatoes, flowers, peppers, squash, zucchini, and cucumber. I think we've tried radishes and carrots every year and they still don't work. This year, we got tons of radishes, they looked perfect on the outside and inside, they tasted like spicy soap

This year is starting to look like last summer regarding crappy gardens.

SO glad we didn't bust our humps again with corn and the whole nine... Ugh!!
Either we don't have enough rain, or we have too much rain, never is it in the middle

We grew carrots last year, and when the whole garden turned to an overgrown tangle of weeds, I found two rogue bell pepper plants and a handful of carrots in all the jungle of weeds! I wish wet had carrots and potatoes this year -I keep getting out voted on potatoes. We have onions and bell peppers still thriving, and some cucumbers and the green tomatoes. My chickens like the split tomatoes, and whatever garden rejects they get tossed, so it's not a total loss.
My chickens love split tomatoes, Cinnamon also likes the ripening tomatoes before I get to them. There was a huge heirloom that she got this morning

Get you one of these. It isn't Lethal with the bird shot rounds but it will definitely deter cats and birds. You could slip a .22 pellet in it to kill snakes if need be. I have one and love it. Also its an air rifle so you can shoot it inside of city limits etc.
hmmm I have something that is stealing eggs (most likely the snake I saw last week). Too bad we don't need any more

Ugg, thank god I don't have to go to the airport again today!!!!! Thanks to my wonderful son that's taking DH to airport!!! Don't think my body could take another long ride :/
