Whatever stung me was on my shoes inside the house. When I picked them up to put them on, I felt the sting. I dropped my shoes and never found what it was. Finger was swollen all day.
 
Yes, love the shirt. I ran off 2 foxes recently yelling and hollering after them. I know, my neighbors think I'm crazy. One told me, I just add entertainment to the area :)

Looks like the teen and I have food poisoning.... not sure from what. I always though jump to conclusions and blame the poor chickens and think some how we cross contaminated something. Course it is more than likely from a grocery store than our healthy flock but who knows you know?

Ouchy bellies and lots of getting sick. -sigh- Course husband has a super important day at work and can't be of help till tonight and he feels very badly about it. At least he let the chickens out this morning and I can have a PJ day here with the kids. -blah- I hope none of my other children get sick too! :(

Grocery store!! Chickens didn't do it.

Apparently they had a recall on lettuce that they serve at Pizza Hut and a few grocery stores according to our Pizza Hut manager. She said she found out when they didn't deliver any last week and called to find out why. Not sure what was wrong with it. They had pulled all the Iceberg lettuce from all of our grocery stores. I hope y'all start feeling better soon!

I can't find info on a lettuce recall but we did have salad last night and the iceberg lettuce came from Walmart yesterday too. Not going to use it again just in case. Going to trash it rather than chickens/compost.


P.S. I keep failing at my attempts to grow lettuce here!
