I think I need to do a crop operation ???!!! I gave the hen olive oil w/some tiny pieces of bread and filled her crop enough to feel around and I think the vet wrap is in fact in there

Anyone know where I can get absorbable vet sutures? Seriously. I'm going to do the best I can for my hen, she won't make it based on how she is progressing.

Most people just use super glue. Glue the crop back together and then the outside skin.

I read that super glue will not work on the wet interior crop and it burns too. I am going to ask my vet, maybe they will help me.

So my hen just died I want to send her for a necropsy to UGA, anyone have that number by chance?? I keep trying to Google it, but I can think straight, I'm so sad. I felt her crop, I didn't feel an object this morning like I thought I did yesterday. Now I just don't know what happened?? She was convulsing before she died, terrible

So sorry she died. I feel your hurt! The department of agriculture does the autopies for free
