YO GEORGIANS! :)

Y'all didn't have to send in affidavits regarding your legal status and ID before getting your license?

Papa Brooder eggs ... well, after the post office got done with them, we're lucky that any of them were still any good. Somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 are duds, no doubt because of how they were handled by the oh so fabulous USPS. Hopefully we'll get something out of them.

They had the class and test at the old McDuffie county court house that still has offices in with a notary. We had to sign forms saying we are US citizens and show our drivers license. She made copies of our drivers license and notarized the forms just before the class. The instructors took all the forms and test with them to turn in. They also let us know they are actually some of the ones that issue fines if you are at a market selling eggs without your certificate.

Gotcha ... our local class was done at our extension office and we had to mail that stuff in.

I had to talk to 4 different gentlemen in with the GA Ag trying to find a place in our area to have the classes. McDuffie extension agreed to host it with the Wilkes County extension running ads for the classes to help because their office is too small for classes. Appling extension has a bigger office but they are having renovations done at this time and won't be complete until Feb. I am so glad they were all able to help us get local classes.

I still question your legal status, Frenchie.
Well honey I sure didn't marry you for your winning personality.
