YO GEORGIANS! :)

My daughter has claimed the black one beside the gray one. We have some very tiny ones that are only a day old. That have the same kind of feathers this one did when it hatched. They came from the same person and are also black. I can post some pics of them also if you want to see them too. The GLP are from eggs that I bought on ebay from Gabbard Farms.

Ahhhh...such beautiful babies. I know the kids are having fun with them. I also know that re homing them is stressful. Thank you for taking the time to see that they are going to be taken care of in their new homes.

Thank you. We are proud of our first time hatches even if most of them are mixes. And to have such a wonderful success for the first time. We were blessed to come across some wonderful sellers on ebay (some of our very own BYCs) that were willing to give us tips and encourement on hatching. I left the rest to the kids (I did help candle. I was afraid of them dropping an egg & seeing a baby).

Finding them a new home is very stressful. I really hope and feel that if we are on this site that we all love chickens & are going to give them the best home that we possibly can. We have become attached to these little messy buggers. I have some JGs that will be hatching in 3 weeks so, you'll see me on here begging for homes for a few of them also. lol. I'm thru hatching this year. I probably won't let the kids hatch next year until they have homes lined up. We have room for more bantams, but introducing younger ones to our almost 6 week old chicks that are in the coop and run is not easy.
