YO GEORGIANS! :)

Well, the hawks seem to be out in full force. One got our EE pulllet, of course it was the pretty one. My kids were pretty upset, since they were the ones to find all her feathers. Since then the others have kept close to the back yard, and my JG. On the upside, I placed an order for my JG roo. Due to hatch at the end of the month.

If anybody has Roos they want to give away I want them I'm around Cochran and Eastman Ga. They need to be between 4&6 weeks old for the purpose of Caponing. I know that not everyone will buy into this but I do. The meat tast mush better when done right. thank you for your time.

Thought I'd drop in and say hello. New member here and all. I'm in the Hampton area I just south of the speedway. Not new to chickens having grown up with them and fooled with them off and on since then. Looking to set up a laying flock of quality buff minorcas this spring. Others that hold my interest are silver penciled hamburg, welsummer, delaware and nankin. Also on the lookout for a production blue egg layer.
Also a beekeeper of 30+ years and avid gardener with a little over a quarter acre under cultivation.
Professional trapper and wildlife control specialist, if I can help I'm always free with my advice.
There is a man in Thomaston ga that has black and blue Americana chickens he is a breeder they lay blue or green eggs pm me if you are interested

Just had a young hawk after our free rangers. They were all hiding under the plum tree thank goodness. Hearing their screams I ran outside to see the hawk fly out of the plum tree. I cupped my hands and slapped them together making a shot sound due to the echo here in the valley area. It worked...for now. I know he will be back now that he has found them.

Gorgeous multi-color sizzle roo was lost last night. He and taken to sleeping in the goat run-in, on the ground. Based on what was left of him I'm guessing possum or coon.

I've been trying to get help figuring out if it's a male or not to no avail. My gut says yes.

We saw what looked like a wolf or coyote a few miles from our home a couple of days ago around noon. Today after seeing the hawk in our yard earlier, I saw a fox cross the road about two miles from our home around 10 am. Looks like the predators that usually come out at night are out in the daytime too.
