A couple are barnyard mix, some Silkies and an EE chick. I will go back and edit the pictures to give a better idea of breed. I don't know why I didn't do that to start with. How adorable! Thank you for the pictures! What breeds are they?

Our Partridge Cochin hen is loving the cool weather! She is a big girl just covered in feathers. I'll try to get a picture of her today. What a bunch of cuties! Everyone seems to be doing well with the cold here. I stuck a small reptile heat lamp in the coop for my skinny EE, Hawkbait. She's the low one on the pecking order. Otherwise, all my ladies are doing great. Of course my JG are the size of a barge, so they have no problem staying warm!
Thank you, Valleychicks. I have a lot to learn, reading as much as I can
On a separate note, I scored 50 2x2 cypress boards on craigslist. 5.5" long, perfect size for my tractor plans. Got plenty of 1/4" hardware cloth and lath screws to attach them. Getting ready to start building the coop this weekend. Looking forward to the swap in February.
I posted my design ideas that I gathered from books and byc posts under the coop post your pictures here post. Hopefully someone will let me know if I missed something bigHoping I am doing this right, my first time building anything.
In Long County, GA. It's between Jesup and Hinesville
Welcome.... hope you stay longer than some of the last folks. They just poked their heads in and then ran away screaming. It's my fault.

Looks good! I took a look at your design too and @Flowerbh is right about the roost. The chickens will make most of their mess while on the roost so you don't want them crossing through the roost to the nest box. I don't have pictures of my coop up yet, just been too busy with all the weather/chicken math/weather... If you really want input on what you are doing with your coops put the link to your plans with a little note asking for input in your signature. We love giving our inputThank you, Valleychicks.
