YO GEORGIANS! :)

Hope y'all are bringing an appetite. Just got a call from a woman wanting to be a vendor at our event. So we now have a fried apple pie truck scheduled.

Well.. My eggs that shipped on Saturday and SHOWED leaving ATL this morning, did not make it to my PO today. Apparently they are floating around somewhere.

I could scream. God knows what they've done with them.

Can you call your local PO and see if the PO master can track them? Our PO master tracked my chicks last year when they left Atl and were taken to a PO in Athens. Luckily my DH works in Athens and was able to get them for me.

Has anyone noticed that GAM never refers to me as DH? Even though D can stand for so many things.

Stone Mountain Here!
Anyone in Dekalb county or nearby Decatur, please plan to attend the open board meeting on 1/28/15 at 9am, at which there will be a potential vote on a new set of codes which will greatly reduce restrictions placed on backyard poultry and we need your help! Come make your voice heard! Without us, they might defer the vote, and they might vote no!
See you there!
9am 1/28/15 Maloof Auditorium 1300 Commerce Dr. Decatur GA

Peace, love and poultry!

That's how we found out. I never got an update past "departure" from ATL, so hubby called first thing this am. They said it wasn't there but that they do have a second truck that comes later from ATL.

So he called after lunch. They said that truck had run but package still isn't there. The guy said he can't see past what we can-- I just don't understand how it "left" ATL but never made it to my town.

I called them myself. The guy says "I'm looking at the tracking and it says it was PROCESSED in ATL.. Not that it left". I said, "well maybe I misread it," and he said he honestly can't tell me where it is.

But then I hung up and looked again and it clearly says DEPARTED.. Ughhhh!?????!!!!

I was very nice. I know it's not his fault personally, but had I realized he was BSing me about processed/departed I would've called him on it.

Weeeeee! I am getting ready to start the incubator as soon as I fill up the back space with more eggs from tomorrow! Hoping for some eggs from some of my darker egg layers... wonder why they haven't laid eggs in the past few day? Roo is Swedish Flower. Hens are Swedish Flower, Polish, Easter Eggers and Olive Eggers, Silver, Gold and BLR Wyandottes, Isbar, Naked Necks, frizzled NN/EEs, Welsummer, Cochin, Marans, Langshan, Crest Cream Legbar, Black Australorp, and Buff Orpington (probably not fertile). Should produce some interesting chicks!
