Oh no! we have four feet of snow here in northern michigan.

Haha. I know. And here's the joke. They cancelled school this morning! It's just that in the south, we don't have the equipment to keep the roads nice. I have a daughter in Wash. DC and one in CT. They were raised in the south and are amazed at how well the roads are cleared up there. Plus, our trees are not use to snow. It looks like a war zone here with all the broken trees here.

Oh no!  Just looked outside.  Snowing again!  And, it is sticking.  Already a quarter inch.  Got to go to Acworth for the day so hope it's not bad out on the roads. 

The roads are fine down here for the most part. A few patches of ice reported here and there. I am in Kennesaw at the moment.

Yeah it's still flurrying here. A couple small slick spots from wet roads but nothing bad.

Been a busy gal with sick Robo, then sick GAM, then setting up egg hatching in a couple of the area schools.  And talk about fun ... back before Christmas time, a staff member at one of the schools bought a pair of Marans from me to give as a gift to another staff member.  She has been saving eggs for one of the hatching projects.  I got to see them today ... absolutely gorgeous dark chocolate brown.  That was so wonderful to see.  Always nice to know your birds still have what it takes.

Speaking of.. Why, when people are selling incubators, do they leave all the nasty crap in the bottom of them and take pics of it?? Maybe I'm just a clean freak, but 1) I'd clean something up if I'm asking hundreds for it an 2) I wouldn't be able to let it get that gross in the first place.
