LOL! Well if there are any signs of Silkie in your chicks they may have come from my mix. We have 3 very feisty Silkie Roosters.I've got a ton of eggs that I set on 2/15 ... I did have to pull some when I candled but most of them are doing great. I don't recall off the top of my head which ones were from who but the hatching madness will begin soon. I have eggs from 2/15, 2/18, 2/20, 2/23, 2/28, and 3/3 in there right now. LOL
any of the chicken egg I gave u should be exchecher leghorns mixed with a campine roo or pure campine. all the mixes I have hached have came out black the campine have a leopard look to them.and there could be a polish in there also I know I had some that day but I cant remember if I sold them all or put them in that batchI've got a ton of eggs that I set on 2/15 ... the eggs I got from Flower should pip tomorrow!!! for hatch on sat, or am I rushing things?
Question, if I got a couple of duck eggs can they be set a week ahead of the chicken eggs and still be put into the same incubator? Is the heat and humidity the same?
So i've been collecting eggs and putting them in the fridge. Well now i've got an egg holder for the counter top. Can i now place the eggs i've already collected in the new holder on the counter or do those now have to stay in the fridge until i use them?
