I have a silver duckwing OEGB too! :) If she ends up being a "he" though, I may have to talk to you. She's such a sweet little thing.

I couldn't hear anything over the fan running so I unplugged it for 2 MINUTES to listen and check eggs. It was on day 23. I used to suggest giving more time than that too until the bator was on too long for quitters. For me (not everything works for everyone-find what works for you and roll with it) I like to check after a few days of nothing to make sure it is worth leaving the bator on. Happy hatching:)

Sorry, My bad. I had totally misinterpret your post. I honestly thought you had turned off the incubator and then expected chicks to keep hatching! LOL.
