We had the strangest little duck-like thing following our Mallards around on the water tonight.. Had to get the binoculars out because it was smallish and not brightly colored. I think I narrowed it down to a Pied-Billed Grebe..

It's a strange little thing.. An "odd bird" if you will. Strangest is the fact that it appears to be completely alone..
