Rocky, what did you do about the cement? Did you redo it or leave it with chicken tracks?

I have lots of hatching eggs if anyone needs them!

That photo was taken by someone else who shared it on facebook, and they were asking the same question. I would leave 'em, Hell, I would probably turn more chickens loose and let them really lay down some tracks.

Is CO2 readily available?

I can't drop money for equipment right now.  Still working through the vet bills for my senior citizen labrador.


I read to use baking soda and vinegar. Like the science experiment you would do for the erupting volcano as a kid. But you mix enough so it does not over flow the cup just the gas flows over.
 
I'm trying to figure out what to do about shipped eggs I got yesterday and some other eggs coming from CA shipping out tomorrow. I was hoping to hatch them all in my incubator together but I don't think I will be able to do that so I may see about putting the Silkie eggs I got yesterday under one of my broody Silkie hens and then putting the other eggs shipping out tomorrow in the incubator. What would y'all do?
