YO GEORGIANS! :)

You have two choices go ahead and start those eggs and since the eggs are not shipping until monday then what 2 days 3 at the most to get them then they have to chill for at least 12 hours stretch it to 24 so that would push it to sat/sunday, my incubator will be free come the 29th and we could meet somewhere and you can borrow mine on monday the 30th, cause I won't need it for at least 3 weeks
I was wondering if it is ok to put shipped eggs under a broody or do they need to stay in an upright position? I have a broody Silkie and a broody game hen I could put them under but would that be ok?

I would think putting them under the broodie would be fine
how far along are the other eggs? the broody may not wait too long for those eggs thinking they are duds and abandon them and then you could not put them in the bator hoping that would work, I tried that and none hatched, my broody did that

oh yeah he's happy, but my RIR thinks all the girls should be his so I watch him when they are out, Nelson is a good protector and not afraid to fight, the RIR went into Nelson's pen and had his back to me yeah one shocked bird when it was snatched up so far that worked and he is steering clear, he has 4 girls I told him he could not take them all, he has even tried to steal the bannie hens,
