Only my males turned red behind the ears at an early age. I'm guessing you have a boy.

Yep I thought so, I just wanted to make sure he wasn't getting sick with the red ears, you can't see these things with feathered chickens

Robo was just mean enough to do his little stunt when I wasn't there so I missed the fun. He's such a meanie stinker head.


As for pretend chickens ... GAMjr has Sillies and Seramas.

I may have to get some of your hatching Seramas eggs, bator is full right now

It went all the way through to the point of sticking into the next finger. I was outside the pasture and tried to throw a 2x4 over to the burn pile about 40 or 50 feet away. So there was a lot of force enabling that piece to find home.

see I bet that was a perfectly good piece of wood so the wood God exacted his revenge, and yep I see where it stuck your other finger now that you said that, That was a good job

No eggs yet. She's just getting started. Hers are from eggs we got from ladycat here at BYC ... she has stuff listed in BST. She is beyond wonderful to deal with.
