YO GEORGIANS! :)

I've hatched Silkie eggs before and they will usually hatch a bit earlier but this is my first time to have other bantam eggs. I have a bantam cochin and two D'Uccle eggs in my bator with larger breed eggs. I hope they do well. I will be on day 18 Tuesday. I plan to put all of the eggs in a carton flat the night before because I sat them early in the morning. I have cut dime size holes in each egg cup. I used the carton bottom method on my last hatch and it did great!
Good Luck with all of your different chicks

Thanks!! Look forward to learning and chatting! From what I understand I got 2 Easter eggers, 2 silver laced wyandottes and a golden comet. I love them all!! So far they are friendly and so funny. One of the wyandottes is acting very male-ish already but of course we won't know for a while. I bought them as pullets with the understanding that it's only a 90% chance of being girls. Here they are!

Really cute! You can tell males from females kind-of early on Wyandottes. Males will have a blackish 'collar' and females will stay silvery all down it's back. See photo:

Yay! And send me the name of the turkeys you said. I know one was Sweetgrass , but what was the other? Thanks!

Did GAMjr ever make a piece of jewelry out of the spur? I hope so.. that would be so cool and a neat sorry to tell!

And, she could wear it and use it as a weapon if she ever needed to!

Whoopee….I have a wiggler. Like I said I'm a boiling pot watcher. I just went in to check my Cochin eggs and one greeted me with a wiggle. Okay making myself go out and cut the grass just to break myself of being a helicopter Mom over these eggs.
