Anyone have Bantam EEs, OEs, Ameraucanas, or Araucanas in SW Georgia (thomasville)?? I have some shipped eggs in the bator, but I would like to find some local. Would like a trio, but will take 2-5 birds depending on price.

I have LF, I want BantamI'll have some large fowl EE chicks by the end of the month? I live in south east GA.
I'll be seeing you this Saturday right at the Jefferson, GA show? Can't wait. What color silkie are you showing? I love my silkies. I have one OEGB pullet that I got from a bantam show in Calhoun...it was an egg left in a cage after the show. She is 4 months now. I also got a bantam white rock and a d'Uccle egg at the same showI'd love meeting everyone on here that's going. I'll be showing some bearded belgian d'uccles, a silkie, some old english game bantams and some call ducks. My best friend and I show under the name Peachstate Poultry.
Silkies are the best!!!hey everyone! I live in Harlem Georgia (alittle town near Augusta..about 2 hours from Atlanta). Anyway, I have some white silkies for sale if anyone is interested!![]()
hey im in north west ga
This Saturday is the show in Jefferson, GA. I am going as an observer. I have never shown before and I just joined the American Silkie Bantam Club so I hope to learn a lot too. The other show is February 16-17th and it is in Newnan. This one is going to be a lot bigger. Both shows will have people in a sale area that will have eggs and chickens for sale. A lot of times people will show their chickens and then sell them. I have lots to learn before I start to show, haha. I will post when I find out my time slot and if by chance you decide to go to the Jefferson show this Saturday let me know so we can arrange a meeting.Definitely! Is it at the Fairgrounds? I plan on going there. I have never shown chickens, but I would be interested in seeing how it works. Also, I am looking for a few odds/ends. Do you they have chicks/hatching eggs or just pullets and cockerels for sale?
Let us know your time slot so I can stop by to meet ya!![]()
I'm not sure who you are asking but, there are always chickens for sale at shows. You may want to go to the show in Jefferson this Saturday of Newnan on February 16th.Where is this sale & what are the dates?
Hello all from here in warm central Georgia, I'm looking for a trio of Buff Orpingtons around the ages of 12 to 16 weeks or so...Anybody have any to sale (not from a hatchery) either American standard or 100% english or know of someone I can get in touch with ?? Thanks,Tommy
Congrats keep us posted on your hatchIts going good have a few that are due to hatch soon!
New egg here, in middle GA.
Cindy, prayers and hugs to you regarding your mother's passing. I'm still hoping to see some of ya in Newnan show if at all possible. I have to decide in the next few weeks if i'm going to show. If I'm unable to spend night down there, showing will be out of the question for this year. Hope you are all enjoying the mild weather. As farmers we've been needing the rain but glad to see a tiny bit of sunshine!!! Got babies in the inc. coming out today/tomorrow....Praying those two little cream legbars make it on out!!! Still working to overcome that huge loss of our flock during the summer's horrific heat spell.... Y'all have a great day. Trying to stay awake for about another hour for a farm visitor. but two nights with 4 hours of sleep each.....I need tooth pics! I better go sit outside under the porch!Farming is sleep depriving... LOL, just saying, not complaining!![]()
...and you have the best kind of buffs!!!Ooh, I used to have some wonder Buff orps. I sold them as I was concentrating on our Lav. orps and our BBS orps...and NOW Yes I miss them and always will.
I'm tempted to go back to them, but we do have buffs of a smaller kind now in our Buff Silkies and I admit, I have a special fondness for our Silkies!

You are going to be running around like a chicken with it's head cut off....did I just say that?, oops! LOL Girl I can't even fathom handling 14 birds. I know you have a partner but still that's a whole lot of feathers. I'm so giddy about the showHey Cindersga ! Yep I'm looking forward to meeting you ! The silkie I'm bringing is a blue pullet I bought last. I paid an arm and a leg for her so I hope she'll make a good show bird. The silkie competition is tough though, so I'll just have to wait and see how she does. Emailed and got confirmation on my entries today-bringing 14 total birds. Going to be busy !
You are too sweet, thank youalways love ur post cinders
