YO GEORGIANS! :)

And, what's this!?!?!? I give up! I chose the smallest comb, the thinnest legs, the 'girl' feathers, everything girly except vent sexing and tell me what you see! (The one in the front) And, the NN in the middle has huge legs and growing wattles, but absolutely no boy coloring. So weird! I give up trying to sex mixed chicks. Just impossible! Can anyone out there give me vent sexing lessons?

A heads up on all that material.....I took that class. At the last minute (like on my way over there) I printed some of those pages out to read while I ate breakfast. When I got to the 'class', they passed out a sheet of paper for you to put your name and address on. When that got back to him, the guys says, ok, here is your test! I said, 'Wait! What happened to the 'class'?" He looked at me funny and said, "Well, didn't you get your paperwork?" So, I'm telling you, you are suppose to read and study all that BEFORE to go to the 'class'! There really is no class. Also, just letting you know, that nobody fails. If you don't know the answers to the test, you can ask him to clarify the question and they basically tell you the answers. (At least that is the way it was when I took the 'class'!) Then you and a partner have to candle 100 eggs and correctly say whether they are good, blood ring, or not good. So, you really need to either study it online, or print it out.
And that was not my experience at all when they did the class in Paulding. We actually did a class, and we did candling (practice and test), and we did a written test.

I have 5 Banty babies and the male bantum I lost which was a nankin, he was a busy boy I have 3 of his chicks and the Java bantum roo I have 2 of his babies, he wasn't watching things very good!! well I have read through some of it. I'll wait till wednesday and read through it. I was always a good test taker because I can read fast, so the class before a test I'd read the material. Ace the test. Don't ask me the next day though, LOL

I've taken a few different kinds of 'state sponsored' classes similar, and you're right, rarely does anyone 'fail'. I'll be disappointed if theres' not really a 'class' per se, but as long as I know how and what to look for when I leave there I'm good
