I have picked out the hens I would like to have. I know I can order just 1 or more of them at a time from MyPet Chicken.com, shipped date is not until June. Is That the best way to go or is is there a quicker/better option? Among the hens I want are 2 white silkies. I thought about getting one white and one of another color just to have an assortment.

I've narrowed down which hens I would like to start my flock with wahooo. 2 buff brahama bantams, 2 ameraucanas and 2 silkies...because there so flufffffffy My question is about where to get them? MyPetChicken.com can't deliver my selected chicks until mid June if all the stars line up. Is that the best/quickest option out there?

If you can make it up to the Newnan show, you can possibly get some there!

Ideal have a $25 minimum, most other hatcheries have 25 chick minimums. They will add in extra chicks (usually male) to keep them warm, unless you pay extra for insurance.
