YO GEORGIANS! :)

ewwwww............

I was force fed butterbeans by my grandmother as a child and I swore off em after that, LOL
haha! My mother would murder me if she knew I eat baby limas now. When I was really little, I hated lima beans. She'd sometimes fix us alphabet soup for lunch and I would pitch a holy fit if there was one lima bean in it. The poor woman would sort through the bowl and pick em all out. Now, I love them.

I can relate to ya ,my mother forced squash on me as a child and i still can eat it today I can understand did ya plant any tomatoe plants?
yeah six better boy plants. You can barely see the cages in the pic. Been a few years since we were where we could do a garden or have chickens, now the Lord has blessed me with both again!

@GAchickennewbie ! Thanks for your referral. I told her we discussed me being so difficultly picky and specific. I just got off the phone with her. She is so nice! AND... I will be getting a buff orpington, a chocolate orpington, an easter egger, a silver laced wyandotte and a blue marans. I am totally ok with deviating from my specifics because I am more impatient than I thought. I can always get more chickens later, right? LOL

I'm pretty stoked.

I am so glad you are getting different types of chickens! It is so much more fun to know each chicken. I have 34 adult chickens and no two are alike! I can tell each one and they all have names! Most of them lay a different colored egg from each other......except the Gold Lace and Silver Laced Wyandottes. Their eggs are almost identical. You will love your chicken choices!

Woohoooo we've got our first baby. There's one more egg that is completely cracked all the way around that should be out by tomorrow. She's sitting on i believe about 10 eggs which i believe 6-7 were fertile eggs. Dad is a black showgirl and the moms are a white showgirl, a smooth white showgirl and a black turken. No idea which one this little baby may have come from. No NN gene though. :(

Not NN and not black skinned? Genetics is strange!

All six of my eggs hatched sometime last night.. I missed the whole thing! Babies are pretty neat looking! Who knows what they'll end up looking like but for now they are FUZZY and almost a blue tone to them..

So exciting for you to have such great hatches! Go Cabinet Bator! Now you need one of these!

Maybe everyone on BYC could pitch in the cost and you hatch all our eggs! LOL
