YO GEORGIANS! :)

If anyone thinks they know chicken breeds inside and out, wanna give me a guess on this little pullet? I was thinking maybe poor quality D'uccle, maybe even mixed, but I've never seen a D'uccle this color! She's a TSC bantam, so in theory she should be purebreed, but maybe not? She sweet, so it's just for fun, but I'd love to know!

She had dark, but not black, skin. Black legs, beak, and mostly black single comb. Lightly feathered legs with four toes. Puffy cheeks. Very vocal and assertive, but not so much so that she's over the big birds, and is about the size of a slim pigeon or dove. (not a fat atlanta pigeon!)

Could she be a black sex link?

I have a chick problem and can't find anything on the ER for chickens forum about it. One of my buckeye chicks didn't absorb all of it's yolk so I've kept it separate from the others. It has been over 24 hours and now the area where the yolk goes into the chick is leaking yolk. The chick is very tiny compared to the others and hasn't fluffed up. I have been dipping it's beak in vitamin water with nutra drench. I don't know what else to do.

She looks a bit like my bantam EE.
I'm thinking bantam EE might be a very real possibility! My understanding is that they can be any color or pattern, too. Which would explain why I can't find any D'uccles or OEGB her exact colors. :)

Sorry to hear about your buckeye. :( I wish I had any knowledge to impart to you, but I do hope she pulls through! Good luck.

oh no! I know nothing about hatching so I can offer nothing but a little prayer for it to be ok!

Thank you. I hope it pulls through. This has been a bad hatch. I've already lost four chicks and I have two eggs still in the incubator that may not hatch. How old is your pullet? Is she laying yet?
