Newnan was a blast! My new blue silkie pullet got 3rd out of the 18 blues there :)

And of course I bought another silkie! A very pretty little splash pullet!
 
Judy Lee lost a beautiful Paint Silkie, it was in her trailer and then just disappeared. Not saying it was taken, just saying missing. So if anyone remembers seeing one on the ground or wandering around, please contact me and I'll contact her. She is heartbroken and I for her, though I know her only through silkie connections. There will be no questions asked upon return of the bird. Thanks and have a blessed day.

 
I saw a cartoon in one of the zillion chicken books I have stacked on my night stand. A dog sat by his tiny little broken down dog house while his owners were installing a dish on top of a multi level coop. He said the next time some one breaks in let the chickens get him. I thought of this yesterday while high up on my ladder roofing my coop (walls go up today) as my three dogs sat watching and crying because I was not playing ball with them.
