What happen?
My chickens were free-ranging the other day and everything seemed alright, but when I went to close up the coop later, one was missing (I lost the others at other times and to different causes). The next morning, I found maybe a dozen feathers out in the open. There was no other trace; no blood, etc.

Hi! We are outside of Gainesville (funny.... Poultry capital!) I'm looking to get some more hens. We started with 9 babies this Spring and lost 3 then all the others ended up being roosters! Now 3 beautiful roosters and 1 poor little hen. Planning on rehoming the roosters while trying to get the hens so our little Lucy isn't alone!

Papa Chaz be sure you're getting your chick set-up ready.. Your hatch day is Sunday! Mine is Saturday so I'm just gonna separate my hatch tray and lock them all down tomorrow evening. :)

got it done today, I should have taken pics, I had my grand daughter helping me. She's a great helper, and she's so funny too..........every time she'd see the rooster looking at her, she step toward him and stomp her feet, "showing him who's boss" like she saw me do for a few days after he tried to flog me.....

but I'm ready! I just have to pick up some chick feed, and make arrangements with kat (and feathersaloft if theres any extra AM's) to pick them up, after they're all hatched out
