YO GEORGIANS! :)

Well dear, I'm sure feathersaloft MIGHT be willing to work with you on that.. If you ask nicely. She lives close!

Papachaz,
I'd be glad to trade you a blue hen for one of the blacks. :) I'd love to make more splashes
The AMs are still in the coop waiting on their pen.
LOL, if you come tomorrow you can even help hubby run wire!

I spet part of today at the FreeHome Ga Tractor Supply for their Trade Day.
Managed to sell an old hen who was being picked on and a pair of fantail pigeons.
No luck selling my Olive Egger Roo though.

Oh, here is what the backside of the coop looks like, and I just had an offer of some windows for it :)

I will get back to you on the hen. Man I like that building! nice ventilation! Search craigslist for windows, the building supply surplus places are great to find good deals on some. Then again, windows could be cut into the sides, save the cutout, staple hardware cloth in from the inside or work it in behind the siding and add some nails, put hinges on the cutout and you can open in the summer, close in the winter and the HW cloth keeps em safe

The lady I got the building from has another leanto on her house she needs removed. It has a number of small sliding windows with screens.
Plus a lot of poultry netting and just lots of wood for repurposing.

Oh! Almost forgot!
I talked to the Cartersville TSC, and they are planning a Trade Day event in January.
Said they would love to do a poultry/livestock swap either then or at a later date.

When do most of you think you would like to see something like that?
I know we have a lot of members in the area, and think we could really bring out a crowd!

Jealousy alert:

I got to see GAM today. Right here in my own little chicken yard.

Edit: AND, I didn't even have to endure Robo in order to do so!!

Great to see you today, carcar ... as always. So far the boys are doing well. Hopefully they get through the first few nights of adjustment well.
You lie. I don't see it.

I saw the listing, too.

(Ugh, how I hate agreeing with robo)
