Would anyone be interested in a Blue Swedish Isbar if it turns out it is a cockerel? It is only 3-4 weeks old right now but is already leaning heavily towards being a male and not a female. Hate to let a rare breed go to waste but i am not sure i will be able to keep another rooster again unless it stays unusually quiet.

Too cute. I know it's too early for them but I picked up a kiddie pool like this for when my runners are a little older. Oh and I stopped by the TSC in Morrow and grabbed their last box of 2 replacement heat lamp bulbs. The place looked like it had been mobbed, hardly any chick stock to be found and only a few orphington chicks with pasty butts. I brought it to someones attention (he looked at me like "go away") nothing was done. I have tried to realize I can't save the world but I'll give it a good shot with these little things when they come up,

Maybe you mean Monroe not Morrow? I put a cement mixing tub in the run and the duck is in love. Can't wait to get my two cayugas later this spring.

If it was in fact Monroe then they have less than 3 weeks to reset almost the entire store before their inventory can be done so it is very likely that was the look he was giving. Also would explain why the store looks so torn up.
