Just got my first pip from my eggs due tomorrow!  It is an exchequer leghorn/Brahma mix.  I sold my EL last month and had this one last egg from her and decided to throw it into the bator!  Glad to have a baby from her.  Absolutely beautiful bird except lays medium egg.  Getting rid of all my medium egg layers.  Only want large/X-large ones.   

Woke up this morning to one of ours out and already half fluffed! Bright yellow all over with lovely feathered feet! Two more externally pipped, too! Can't wait to see what they look like!

ShadesofSable is hatching some of my chicks at the same time I am! We are having fun comparing notes! I have three hatched out and 8 more pips so far. (Had 22 to start the lockdown with although I think one was bad but let it ride) One of my dark Marans eggs from Newnan is pipping and 3 of the Mottled Orpingtons so far!
