A guy in Cedartown sells laying hens. Red comets I think. Always on craigslist. And I remember you. I have a mind like a steel trap..

Yikes! Picked up my cute new chicks from Joshfig yesterday (from our order back in Oct!) Got 2 Specked Sussex, 2 Black Minorcas, 2 Silver Laced Polish, 2 Easter Eggers and 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte! I got two of everything in case one didn't make it! So, when they get bigger I will probably sell the extra one.

I also put 29 eggs into lockdown. Was so sad when I candled them and found that my one duck egg quit. It was alive and kicking only two days ago! I always wonder what happens to those chicks and ducks that go so far and then quit. All others (chickens) made it to lockdown. Oh well. New hatch Saturday while my grandkids are all here! Then, it will be selling time!

I would check Craigslist. All kinds of grown chickens on there, prices vary.

Hey, I sold some chicks this morning to a lady who said she has some barred rock pullets, don't know what she wants for them, but she talked like she had several. I've invited her to come on in and enjoy the fun here, LOL. I did send her a text that you are looking for pullets, maybe she'll pop in soon.
 
I just taught my rooster I can kick as good with the left foot as I can the right foot. I'm not kicking anything with the right for a while, I fell over a block the other day and bruised it up pretty good


the healing skint place is from tripping over the box blade attachment for my tractor last week. I may not leave the recliner next week......

oh Katiedarling? am I about caught back up again? bahahaha
