Renters put big fire in fireplace and one of the logs fell forward to the very front of the fireplace and the whole house was full of smoke! Luckily nobody died! LOL

Robo, I know GAM is too nice to use her guns on you!
 
My hatch this weekend didn't fair well. NONE of the super dark Marans eggs the DH bought me did anything! I broke them open afterwards and they were all dark watery goop. The man is sending me replacements tomorrow. He said he's had that happen to him before and was willing to replace them. I did hatch 6 more Mottled Orpingtons and about 5 mixed chicks. So, 11 out of 18 that went into lockdown. I really had 20 in lockdown, but I was pretty sure 2 were early quitters, but kept them in there just in case. Most those not hatching were those Marans eggs.
