I got a later start since the new incubator wasn't QUITE ready, but am really hopeful!

Only hard part will be having a clue when they hatch as far as what's what!

I know some of you need some roosters.

I have got to lighten the load here! Also have chicks so private message me if interested in those. Have a silkie that is a few weeks old for $5 but not sure hen or rooster. Have a rooster that is starting to crow and it is a bantam RIR mixed with Game but looks like a RIR for $5. I have one bantam EE rooster left for $7. He is black but has silver shining through. Have more Orust roosters. What I thought was 2 or 3 has now become 4 or 5. UGH! Also still have the black and silver Isbar rooster from GFF for $30.

Oh and I have 18 eggs on lockdown with 7 hatched and 10 more pips. Could be a perfect hatch but we shall see!

ok so here are the eggs I have:

1 Maran nothing marked on it
2 brown eggs no markings
5 BYM marked BYM--white egg and brown eggs
4 blue no markings, 3 small 1 large
2 LA
1 R

so if you can tell which one is your egg let me know

the medium/small sized blue eggs are most likely my AM eggs

I say bluish green but most would say blue.

Super Excited! A friend we all know just PMed me and said he now has a CCL roo to go with his females. He is going to bring me 30 eggs to test for fertility!!!! Oh yea!

My duck is due on Friday, but she has been kicking out eggs left and right. I think she just realized she had too many!!! There were probably 30 under her! I took some of those eggs and put them under my crazy broodies. Apparently they were fighting over them and some got broken. I was about to throw them away when I decided to open one. Baby was still alive, but huge yolk sac and it died of course. It would have been beautiful! It would have been a chocolate and white runner duck! So sad. So I am firing up my mini bator to put the rest of the duck eggs in until after my other chicks hatch tomorrow. Then they will go in there until they hatch. These eggs are in all different stages of development (Again!)

OMG you guys. I don't wanna speak too soon, but all day today, only ONE of my d'Uccle broodies has remained in the box. The others have been out eating and living and don't appear entranced at all. Could it BE!?!?
