YO GEORGIANS! :)

Ugh! To late for one of my SL Polish! I went out to cut her hair in her face and she was dead! I did cut the other ones hair. Not too hard to do. I think she was surprised that see could see! Put her back in with the other ones and she ran over to the feeder! I'm just kicking myself that I didn't do that earlier!
Oh no, so sorry to hear that! I'm about to list a couple of our polish 'chicks' as we thin down the flock again. Would you want first dibs as a friend for your remaining SL? They're a Buff laced pullet, gold laced (unsure of gender, but ordered as a pullet) and white crested cockerel (also ordered as a pullet but, well, mistakes happen I guess.)
I forgot to post the pics! no other pips as of about an hour ago, really wanting the marans eggs to hatch
Cute babies! Which ones are they, can you tell?

Appreciate the offer, but I have two buffs and one GL Polish that are growing out now. They are a few weeks younger but I went ahead and put them together. Do you have trouble with them seeing? The one I just trimmed all the hair away from her face seems to be doing so much better now. I guess I will have to watch for the others when they get more feathers around their face.

yeah the one that's darker in the middle of it's back came from the RIR marked egg, the other lighter one is the EOA, which my understanding was an english orpington over an american orpington

Oh good, as long as she has a buddy that's good!
So far they seem to do OK unless another chicken surprises them from behind, but they're not fully mature yet. Only about 12-14weeks old.
