YO GEORGIANS! :)

Any of y'all have any experience with DNA testing birds? I have one chick that's 12+ weeks old and is still happily straddling the line between cockerel and pullet and I'm not sure what he/she is.

The owners of said are suppose to replace them but it still doesn't make up for time and effort, I went out and spent hours with those birds everyday held everyone of them daily, so needless to say it's been a stressful week, not to mention it's kind of thrown a wrench in my breeding plans for the year....but all and all I lost all but 5 of my cornishxrocks, 3of 5 black sexlinks 3 of 6 red sexlinks , 2 bantams a blue and a hatch, 3 of 6 dixie rainbows , 6 of 10 doms, and 3 barred rocks, 2 new hampshire reds, I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting some but 30 all in all and still have 5 wounded that I think will make it but they aren't in great shape .... ones wing had all the webbing ripped off the others all have holes in them but are doing ok giving them tylan 50 so no infections yet

And I'm soooo pisss333ddd at my self right now bc I'm stressed 9ut I put 23 eggs in. The bator yesterday went in today and I left the thermostat out of the box so it was 127 deg in there bf I realized it but i believe it was only an hour or so.....hope it didn't kill all of those, crap can it get any worse

Finished!! We killed it today! My SON even came out and helped (without me asking him!?!?) and that extra set of hands sure cut time off.

This was right before we finished the last wire section on this side.

In the smaller run where I moved them from, I moved the bigger (i.e., smellier) chicks from the porch brooder.

I'll have to get a pic later of the entry/door side of it..

Oh for goodness sake!
Had let a friend and her new husband stay in the trailer next door when they were homeless.
Now they are refusing to leave, saying since they have been there over 30 days I will need to evict them.

Worst part is, I will have to evict them, but the 30 days is nonsense.
Basically even if you let someone stay even ONE night, they can refuse to leave and are considered a tenant at will.

So now I get to spend the next two weeks trying to get them out. Luckily I have some friends familiar with the process.

Now you know, they were never your "friend" to start with. I HATE SORRY PEOPLE!! I would sue them for $500 a month for every month they were there. You can make their lives HELL!! Do they have power or water? CUT IT OFF!! You can also take anything you may need as in appliances, doors, a few windows. Also, if you leave any appliances or anything in there, they will take it when they leave.
