Have you tried Craig's list and the GA Market Bulletin? Also try to find any local feed stores that may sell them for you. I have a friend in Dahlonega who sells chicks at her store and she sells them for me. I give her .50 - $1 each for selling them for me. She hatches her own eggs, but she likes the variety I can give to her. Maybe you can find someone who will do that for you.

it's hatch day! went to bed last night at 1 no pips. woke up this am to one zipping and 6 other pips that i could see and count! wee so eggcited

dog crates. or maybe even traps and a trailer. if you arent going to far away, Id ask a local shetler/animal control if you could borrow some. Or maybe check craigslist and/or goodwil, the smaller ones are usually pretty cheap, and if they arent going to be in them that long, you could fit 2-3 adult birds in one.

I would also suggest catching them up in the evening after they go to roost, they will be easier to catch. And either move them then, or early in the AM when its not too hot. You can use solo cups and zipties to make cheap water bowls if needed

Hi all, I know this is chicken forum, but I will appreciate any help in finding my missing mare. She was illegally taken and given away from Maysville, Georgia. I am just north of Gainesville and have Marans and Jersey Giants along with a laying pen I know alot of chicken people have horses also, so I apprecate extra eyes out. She does have a FB group page if anybody wants to keep in the loop. It is "Bring Hayley Is A Star home". Please print out the flyer and post it at your feed store or at the local auction. She may have been sold as a grade or to the Hispanic community as a grade. We do not know yet.

yes some of sylvias and some others. so far her eggs are not boding well out of the 14 i have 3 =-o( but my mutts are doing great and the ameraucaunas i bought are doing well too. i will take pics probly today i didn't take them out of the bator yet.
