YO GEORGIANS! :)

Hi everyone, long time. I have a very random question. I usually leave eggs out on the counter until the carton is full, then refrigerate for space reasons. Last night I got cartons mixed up and left some out that had PREVIOUSLY been cold.

They're still okay, aren't they? Should I just leave them out now, or...?

:)

I would just refrigerate them as usual

Save them on the counter and hand them out to trick-or-treaters Monday night.

Hey everyone. Nice to see you on. Googled about the monkey. Only one was spotted.

Got a guy bringing me eggs he wants hatched this weekend. Any empty space will be filled with mine. Yay!

Bargain, sorry about your ducks. We've had mountains lions roaming this area for years. They aren't supposed to be in this area but they are. We don't see many predators here. Too many people around.

Carcar, what type of chickens are you going with this year!

Hey Flower! I have cut back. I have three BR hens for layers. All the rest are bantam cochin. I have a pen with the buff Barred boy over two frizzle girls (one red, one buff).

Then I have a pen with a silver laced quad, plus a blue pullet and black cockerel I'm trying to decide what to do with. I definitely won't let her go, but he's the only one she really matches, lol.

Here she is (with the black cockerel):

I have about 50 chickens. Same ones.

Oh too bad, you could write Robo's number on them.

We don't get trick or treaters either. DH puts a sign up at the entrance to the driveway. Says, "Park here and walk to door. Watch out for bears and coyotes". (Driveway is .6 miles long. It's a long dark curvy road.) Lol!

Too funny! That should cut out pretty much all of them. ;) I think our driveway keeps them away too, with our No Trespassing signage in addition.

Guys!! I am so excited.. I stumbled upon a new visitor last week and thought I could make out a weird crest on the back of its head.. I was praying it's a wood duck and just now he wandered close enough to the near edge that I could confirm with a lot of zoom! So, sorry it's so blurry but he is just GORGEOUS!! So very wild, of course, but maybe he'll stick around! I THINK another little duck that's been here the past couple of days is a female but I can hardly make her out at all, and they don't seem to be a pair anyway. I just know she's way too small to be Mallard but is patterned much like one.
