YO GEORGIANS! :)

400

Chickens for sale! Anyone want a Rhode Island Red mix (French Wheaton Maran or Golden Laced Wyandotte mix) or my RIR purebred. Looking for a calmer flock. Even though these girls lay the largest eggs (Sassy, the one pictured Golden Laced Wyandotte mix, lays medium to large eggs, but very winter hardy...lays very quickly after her molt). My others lay large to jumbo eggs. I have four ready for swap or sale. Looking for Orpington, Australorps, any Rocks or any other sweet/self-sufficient breed. Keeping my one beauty of a RIR Maran mix that is Betty's birth sister, but she might be available if the RIR comes out after all the others have gone.

Welcome to you new folk; hope you enjoy and appreciate YO GEORGIANS as much as I do.

I'm in Woodbury, GA and have Welsummers and Welbars. I also have a sawmill and cut lumber to build coops/etc...

You can also post them for sale/trade on a board at TSC.
As far as breed, you probably know more than me,but I've had excellent luck with my Red Star. My Buffs and Rocks are pretty much ready for the big coop and I have a Black Star and another Red Star who are chicks.

Hello Newbies! Glad you joined the thread! Lots of good learning info here! And some fun crazy chicken people!

I have one of lots of different breeds. I like variety and different egg colors! I have about 100 eggs in my incubator now plus two broodies sitting on eggs! I am a hatch-a-holic!

Just sold all the extra male chicks last night.....9 of them! It's always good to see them go so there is room for new ones! But, it's also sad because I know they will be eaten. But, what else are males good for! LOL
