Hello to everyone!  I'm new to BYC, and to raising chickens in general.  I got 2 hens a couple of months ago, and will soon be adding some baby chicks in the next few weeks!

Also, is there a color limit? Some printers charge more for more colors.

I do some graphic design & have a direct to garment digital printer that does unlimited colors. Only limitation is its cmyk so no white ink. If choosing a lighter color shirt, will print full photo quality. (Not shilling the business I no longer really print much) but that route can be more cost effective bc one price for unlimited colors.

barn yard mixes, one that hatched is a bantam, and I swear two cotton balls together is bigger than this chick, pics soon. So on your design color away!!!!

We are trying to do a contest of a t-shirt design just for this group so when we go somewhere like a chicken show we can wear it and recognize each other, but so far we have only one designer,(shadesofsable) so want to join in on the contest? and if the contact from Gam can't do our shirts then can you? Not for free of course.


for you two we have a get together in May at one of the members farm and it is a yearly thing so your both invited!!!!!

So who all is interested in a t-shirt? Designed by one of our own for us!!! and so far we only have one designer, we need to make this a contest and I have already said I will donate a lap quilt for the prize. Design with the most votes wins and you won't know who designed it so no cheating, lol

6,13,20,27 these are the Saturday's in May so if you can't make it one of those Sats let Gam (@GAMarans ) know so we can have the best turn out. I'm open to any Saturday,



for our newbies, we have a picnic lunch out at Gam's farm spend the day, have a hatching egg swap. and just enjoy the fellowship

I started with 25 one was infertile, 24 went into lockdown and now that I can count had 22 hatch the 2 didn't make it to internal pip

Sounds pretty cool. What kind of pricing? If you were interested and cheaper than the vinyl gal it might be an option for folks to choose to go that route instead.

6th might be a tight squeeze for me but if it is the date that works best for folks I will make it work. Unless Robo has plans (like anyone really cares), the other dates are wide open.

27th is Memorial Day weekend.
