it's the only Franklin GA I know of, LOL yes, we'll be at the Heard County arena, do you know where that is?I just saw Pappa's post...is that franklin ga near Newnan?
Quote: LOL...I know lagrange, harris county and Atl and that's it! I can find the arena! lol I got GPS! , I can find anything with that! When do i need to be there!?
Thanks y'all. Not exactly how I planned on ending my weekend but it could have been worse. Nothing broke in the ankle joint. Not sure how bad but he did mention ligament damage in addition to the brake.
I am sooooo glad to see I'm not the only person who thought this, call them? yeah, that's not happening. Mine stay in the coop/run 99.5% of the time anyway, and those here who have seen my hoop coop know that no birds can get in or out of it. The pallet coop with the dog wire halfway across the yard, yeah they could get in there, but I've honestly not seen any wild birds in there in the 15 months that coop has been there.....and since we put the fence up last year, I no longer have to chase the wild geese out of my yard. Fact of the matter is I haven't really even seen ANY wild geese at the neighbors pond this year to speak of anywayI've also heard NPIP testing is a joke. They come test a few birds once a year. They could be infected the next week and still be considered safe for a year.
What about that at the bottom of the letter about how if you cannot pen your birds in an enclosed space to contact them and let them know? Why? Are they going to come catch them for me? Doubt it. Probably come catch them and take them off with them. I can't catch my guineas. Anyway this is being spread by wild birds. Are they catching all the wild birds and penning them up too? Doubt it. If it gets brought into my yard and my birds die... that's the least of their problems. The wild birds that come in my yard looking for scraps and chicken food are what they will need to worry about. If my birds start dropping, I'll call. Not while they are healthy. I'm just sad about the sales being stopped. I bought 3 oegb chicks... as of right now they all look like hens. I won't need them without a roo, so I was planning on selling them and maybe looking for an adult trio. Just my luck. I still have 3 barred cochin bantam hens and no rooster because out of the three straight run I bought... all girls. I do most of my buying and selling and trading during this time of year. I was about to sell my partridge silkie breeding group, my cochin bantam hens, and some of my other birds that I've been keeping but not planning on breeding. Now? I guess I'm hanging onto them until the craziness dies down.
here's the address. You can google West GA Jr Rodeo, and click the directions link on it. As for when to be there, I'll have to let you know about that. We'll pull the camper down there Friday evening, after the wife gets home from work, I'll be hooked up and ready to go when she gets in. Cool thing about going there the way we do it, the lot is almost perfectly level. the last two times I haven't even had to unhook it from the truck, I just put the jacks down and let the slide out, and we're good to go! I'll pm you my number and we can text or talk about timing. Kat will need to bring me whichever she's passing along in whatever box/crate that Friday afternoon, and you meet me there friday evening, I wouldn't want the poor girl staying in that box or crate any longer than necessary.LOL...I know lagrange, harris county and Atl and that's it! Quote: Sounds great...look forward to it! I will bring my own crate!
ok, but I was going to get a tomato box, they are sturdy, have holes and if that's ok I'll do that or my crate which ever. I'll make sure she eats good before I bring her!!!Wow I am sorry! I'm not that far away, so if you need help with something I can do, I certainly will. Of course this doesn't mean I'm doing robo's chores for him, but I know you know that, just so he does![]()

Kat, if it's a crate, and missy brings her own crate, I'll bring yours back and we can make arrangements to get it back to you.
