YO GEORGIANS! :)

I sure do; I have pine and cedar shavings and some folk like the sawdust as good as the shavings (the difference is the size, with shavings being larger).
PM me if you're interested.
Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Is there anyone close to me, I'm in Pine Mountain are near Callaway Gardens that has a young or young adult sweet docile hen, maybe a 1 year or younger that they would part with. I lost my Ginny last night...can you say devastated !!
Sorry to hear it Missy. :( I'd give you one of mine, but all I've got are Golden Sex Links and everything I've read about them says they're not good with other breeds. My 6 get along just fine together, but I bet if I separated one of them, she'd be mean to your babies. Hope you find something.

Thanks, I have a gold and a black in my flock, I'm just going to keep the ones I have, they are all good together

I've never had any trouble using google maps on my phone. Are you one of the 3 or 4 people in the world who still uses an actual GPS unit?

I still use a GPS unit. Don't like smart phones. I have one, but I basically just use it for calls.

Can someone help me?
My rooster comb keeps turning purple and now it's not turning back to red

you kids and them crazy hair colors......I'm reminded of when my mother used to say, 'keeping making that face at your sister, one day it might freeze like that' LOL

seriously though, purple comb usually indicates a lack of oxygen, I found this:

Purplish or Dark Red - a purplish comb signals a lack of oxygen in the blood, poor circulation or respiratory/breathing issues. Your chicken could have something caught in her throat if you notice her comb suddenly turn purple. In extreme cases, it can be the indication of a stroke or heart attack. If you suspect your chicken has suffered a stroke, consulting a vet is your best course of action.

Avian flu is another possibility if accompanied by other symptoms such as lack of coordination, soft-shelled eggs, decreased appetite, lack of energy, diarrhea, swelling of the comb, head and eyelids, nasal discharge, decreased egg production or coughing and sneezing.

what other symptoms does he have, if any?
