YO GEORGIANS! :)

Hahahahha! When I was new to chickens, every field of grass I would go by, I would think how much my chickens would love all that grass. If I went by some little shack house, I would think how I could turn that into another coop. When I saw an entertainment center in the 2nd hand shop, I would mentally turn it into a new brooder! I would lay awake at night and think of all the new chickens I needed! So, I understand where you are coming from!!!

YES!!!!! Ok, so a little house down my cute little dirt road came on the market this week and all I could think of was turning it into a brooding house and hatching facility. I have problems.

I have only had my gals for 5 weeks now and am falling prey to the same thing. I have a few months until I even get eggs yet and am already wanting more. I have seen some chicken gardens with chunnels and think those would be fabulous too

Ok...calling all chick detectives. Do any of y'all have a clue what this chick is?

Here are the facts:

1. Brought to me by a client---sold as a Silver Laced Polish female sexed chick

Okay, it's just one fact. BUT...my SLP chicks do NOT look like this. Is this what should have been a cull or is it just flat out not a Polish chicken. Ideas?

Next to one of my SLP bantam chicks:

It looks close enough to be the same breed.

I agree with that, but maybe it will be a late bloomer.

I hope so. Now, I probably should probably stop fretting about that goofy chick and worry more about my incubating eggs whose air cells looked so nice prior to setting, but are now saddled and wonky. Here I go again...

It's gonna be a loooooong two weeks!!!

Becky hope all went well on the filming!! I started recording every eyesore so I could make sure I catch your coop. I've been busy as best I can trying to build a smaller coop for my pullets now finally got it finished enough to let them into it should have been done already but I'm always behind on projects! My easter hatch is doing great and almost ready to be put out in the larger brooder. I never knew that I would need 4 different coops for chickens to grow for my flock lol now I have them for stages in life and still need to build another one or two for my bantams and my Batchlor group getting them ready for vacation later on this year when they get big enough. What I need is to find someone close that might have some button quail eggs eggs I can get
