The money for the GQF cabinet incubator is worth the investment if you are going to be hatching a lot. No worries. No such thing as lock down. Eggs go in...chicks come out....eggs go in....ducks come out....eggs go in....poults come out....eggs go in...quail come out....eggs go in....goslings come out...eggs go in....keets come out....eggs go in...peas come out. No muss no fuss. They hatch we pull them out and put in new eggs. There are eggs in there constantly in various stages of incubation.
My husband built me a cute turkey tractor. I contributed by making and painting the door. So we put all 4 of our turkeys together and the two chickens that were keeping one of the turkey's company. I don't think they knew what to do with all the space and grass.

I build mine out of cattle panels. That makes it tall enough to walk in. You need to add a piece of a tarp to that front section for shade. As it gets warmer, you may need to open the rear so air can flow through it.
