Now, down to 4 of the 7 wk olds from my first hatch and @brucifer 's FBCM chick (can't remember her age).

Millie was hatched on 4/2/17, so that puts her at just over seven weeks of age.

Lost a turkey yesterday. I was moving them into the tractor and one started flapping his wings and ended up with a compound fracture. So, there I was at 7:30 processing a turkey with rain coming at 8:00. Not my expected evening activity.

I'm guessing my post about one of my Americanas having a growth on her neck got lost in the shuffle.her head tilts because of it. Now the other chickens, well one of them, my deaf one, throws her wing over her and started pecking her neck last night...any suggestions are appreciated!

That's perfect. I knew she wasn't too much older than mine which were hatched 4/12! She is really enjoying herself bossing around the 2 week olds.

unrelated to anything except chickens...I have another order of eggs coming this Thursday and a little group to add to those. Planning on setting Friday. I'm addicted!!!
