YO GEORGIANS! :)

View attachment 1045495 View attachment 1045495 Here's a pic of the moms and dad. These were taking before I purchased them earlier this year. Couldn't find a up to date pic on my phone. Not much has changed though
Pretty birds. Yours are American Lavender Orpingtons. I believe the breeder who did a lot of the early work in the USA developing Lavender Orps did so with American Orps.
Liv, if you were hatching Svart Hona I might've taken you up on the offer. I have a thing about shiny black birds, I guess.
Had I known, I could have saved some Black Lanshans for you. I have two pullets and a cockerel that I'm giving to someone tomorrow.

Yea they are the American orpingtons. I've been wanting some English also but have ended up with other breeds instead lol. I think I'm starting to develop a addiction when it come to chickens!!! Was only supposed to have 3 breeds!!

No worries, Brucifer. The 2 BSLs are turning out kind of pretty with their rusty head and necks and they are meant to be good layers. One of the SS is tiny though and I wonder how she will end up laying-wise, as I had initially chosen LF known for large eggs and good laying.
With the addition of Cythia's Partridge Brahma trio, I am developing contentment with my flock.

I merely have FIVE black sex link cockerels to deal with. Maybe only four, there is one smaller one whose comb is pink compared to the the others and the wattles are much smaller. I hold out a little hope on that one; it looks so different from both the cockerels and the pullets.
