YO GEORGIANS! :)

At least one of my ducks is using the nest box.

Anyone ever have a bird actually recover from sour crop? My silkie has it. I dealt with it one other time and ended up having to put the chicken down due to her just getting sicker no matter what I tried. I know the treatment, just wondering what are the chances of it working?

My Lulu got stung by a yellow jacket a bit ago, is there anything I should do or watch for??
My chickens eat bees, wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets. If they've ever gotten stung, I've never known about it. If one of my birds did get a sting, I probably wouldn't do anything other than maybe give her a treat like some grapes or popcorn.

When it comes to chickens, there are plenty of people who will offer some nonsense advice that could be harmful to your girl, so please be careful. Hope she feels better soon.

BTW, I know I don't know KB that well, but the look on her face was PRICELESS when I told her that you needed to get your birds out of the van! :lau I hope she'll forgive me for that one, but I couldn't help myself, and I think you were thinking of doing the same thing!

There are you tube videos on how to cut the crop open, pull out all the wads of stuff in there and then super glue it back together.

That does not sound like something I want to do. Lol. I just brought her in so we'll see how she does over the next 24 hours. Maybe desperate times will call for desperate measures. Doesn't seem impacted, just squishy.
