Black Oil seeds. My chickens love them (even my Bantams)Ok y'all ...question...my girls love scratch, but I read where it's not recommended during hot weather. What would y'all suggest for something to throw out in place of that?

@Flowerbh it's official I have 2 girl ducks I finally heard the tan one quack she is more of a wall flower than the chocolate. See that happened cause I was really hoping deep down it was a boy. But I will get eggs x2
Fresh paint is a good thing, especially if you use a high-gloss paint that is easy to clean. Just turn on the fan and let it air out a few days before putting out the welcome mat.What's y'all's opinion of white washing the wood walls inside the new coop. I figured paint wouldn't be healthy but really didn't know. Just don't want it to be so dark in there...opinions , suggestions??
