We have a few Silkie cockerels available. The oldest hatched 2/27/17. We have a White (oldest) and a Blue that are show quality, and a Black with silver hackles that is pet quality.

Still working on my project. I have what I want in my mixes now my next step is to breed a Silky Rooster to my silver Brahma / Silky pullets. My Silky hens are a little over a year old and will only breed to another Silky now. I also still have some Brahma/Silky pullets I need to rehome.

Well, I'm doing it! Going to auction with 9 of my oldest hens. These were some of my first, but they are 4+ years old and just not laying well. I fell so bad. They are like family, but I just can't afford to keep feeding them when they are not contributing to the egg pool! I will let you know how it goes.
