YO GEORGIANS! :)

If it really worked don't you think the hatcheries would be doing it all the time. I've had a few incubations with lower temps and the only thing I could tell different was it took longer to hatch and had more weak chicks.
I have my doubts about the process, especially when people say it works because it makes the eggs turn female, which of course isn't possible. But the hatcheries do get money for males, even if it's for dog food chick mush, so I'm not sure they'd 'waste' fertile eggs by purposely killing them. But that's just my thought.

Hi everyone! Hope y'all and your birds are making it through this unseasonably-cold winter. I was hoping to make it to the Newnan show in a couple of weeks, but the swap lands on the same date as the Chinese New Year, so I won't be going.

Next week I plan to go to Jack's place for the great mushroom-log day. Hope the weather holds up that day and to see some of you there.

Hey, has anyone seen @katsdar lately, or has she flown the coop?

Any plans for a shindig this year, or is it too early? I've been working on a smoked tandoori chicken recipe with a homemade wet rub, and I think I've got the rub pretty much down. Sure would like to share it with y'all.

I'll send chick pictures as soon as they all hatch and dry out! I have 20 so far....and I have at least 6 Naked Necks so far! It's funny because most people don't like NNs, but I have 3 people waiting for these! One lady called and said she loved all the last group of chicks she got from me so much, she can't wait to get more! I do put out some unique and fun looking chicks! This group of NNs include black, yellow (white), blues and one that is blue with golden overtones! So now we just wait to see how many are frizzled! My Naked Necks also are colored egg layers and most don't develop wattles which I think are ugly on other Naked Necks!
