What breeds are they? And what part of GA? Do you care if they go to someone that will make them food or do you have a preference for them to go to someone who will keep them as pets?
I am located in Covington,GA a little SE of Atlanta. I honestly do not even know breeds to be honest the receipt and box was just marked pullets. I am a newbie chicken Momma LOL.. My husband got 4 chicks at TSC he did not even ask breed he just said he needed pullets only and well 3 of the 4 ended up being these lil fellers. But as far as food or pets I have no preference I just could eat myself since they been here for 6 weeks lol I just don't want to know lol as long as they are not used for fighting or for cruel purposes I am good. Oh and the whitish one is very friendly.

That’s almost 3 hrs from me, sorry. I can’t even convince my husband to drive 1.5 hrs to get guinea hatching eggs.

I am so sorry that you guys ended up with 3 out of 4 roosters. If you guys are still interested in getting pullets, I’d go for red sex links. There is no way to go wrong on the sex for those.

I understand distance. I went myself and got 3 black sex link pullets. No white spots on head when chicks and they are 5 weeks old now and show no signs of being male lol

Sometimes we gotta do it ourselves! Black sex links were the other ones I was going to suggest. Glad you were able to find buddies for the only one that turned out to be female.

Hey everyone! I'm from North Forsyth County (very different than saying I'm from South Forsyth or even just Forsyth 😆). So happy to be a part of this chicken community. I have enjoyed every part of raising chickens so far! Except all the poop; I tolerate the poop for the love of my flock, but I don't love it yet. Maybe if I start gardening, then I'll love it!
