YO GEORGIANS! :)

She’s a speckled Sussex, and they all have waddles growning. She is about 7 weeks old, might be 8, not sure since they were TSC chicks.

Must have skipped over your reply somehow.
Oh didn’t know speckled sussex developed wattles early. Hopefully anyway. 👍

13 fluffs from the incubator and 4 more my broody hatched for me. Yes, I need to clean their pen.

We had our first snake (black rat) visitor yesterday. I surprised to see it with the temps being so cool. I re-homed it to the back of our property. I'm sure It will be back in a couple of weeks.

Hey everyone, I have bantam polish hatching eggs for sale in Atlanta. There will be a mix of white crested black, white crested blue, silver laced and buff laced. I can meet or deliver for a fee or ship.

Do you keep them separate or keep them in a mixed flock of Polish?

These were Heritage Speckled Sussex and not hatchery babies so I'm sure there could be some differences but in my experience the cockerels have more white on their chests and you definitely see the pronounced comb and wattles. The cockerel in this image is 3 weeks younger than the pullet.
