YO GEORGIANS! :)

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that! Some people find that regular rotations of dewormings works well for them. I haven't had to do this but I have thought about it when hearing horror stories.

I did read there are natural remedies to prevent worms and when I would care for my flock the first 2 years I would give them treats that happen to be listed on the list of natural ways like pumpkin and watermelon and others. So maybe that’s why I didn’t have an issue with worms before?

My husband isn’t a crazy chicken man like I am a crazy chicken lady. Although I feel I lost that title and need to get it back. So he doesn’t show them the love and attention my chickens need.

I was giving them a natural prevention mix for years and it seemed to keep them healthy. I'm actually dealing with fowl pox for the very first time ever and I stopped giving them that blend about 6 months ago...makes me wonder.

Hoping everyone had a great thanksgiving day.

definitely ate too much as always 😂 😋 🤤 . I felt like a chubby when everyone only grabbed one plate and I went back for seconds. Granted the only ones present were my MIL, GIL (grandma in law?? Is that a thing 😂), my two kids, and my SIL. My hubby decided to be out in the field working all day.
