Our one of a kind Java rooster died fighting a fox and another hen killed by the fox as well recently since we free ranged them, but no more. If anyone has a similar breed they want to re-home around Gwinnett County then please let me know. Im in 30046 area and can come pick him up from nearby...

I've been around for a little while, but wanted to introduce myself here. :) I have a mixed flock and a small Bielefelder breeding project. I also raise coturnix quail for eggs, and sometimes button quail for pets. I occasionally screen and rehome roosters in the area if they are good with both humans and hens. I also can do chickensitting for folks in the NE ITP area if needed. Good to meet you all!

Thats what we had and he was amazing at defending the hens
 
Does anyone have any eggs in the incubator that they’d sell me? My hen has been sitting and I’ve had eggs in the incubator for her (in case of snakes) but they are all late quitters, they were supposed to hatch today. I looked at my temp logs and the temp went down over night a few days ago so that might have done them in.

She has never been one to adopt chicks even though I’ve tried a few times, so it’s eggs or nothing for her ☹️

I’m near Rincon.
 
Hi there!! Looking to potentially re-home my male duck. Recently lost his buddy (our female) and he is completely lost. He is sweet- been around dogs, cats and small children. 3.5 years old and has always been very healthy. No issues at all. Wanted to post on here to see if anyone is interested. Forsyth Co area
